MART Brooklyn Auxiliary turns out to Chinatown Tour

The newly formed Brooklyn Auxiliary of MART members turns out in force to Nate Hill's Chinatown Garbage Taxidermy Tour. Keep your eyes out for the next tour. In this photo, Takeshi Yamada and Nate Hill look on in amazement at the riches they have found at the third stop on the tour.

The history-making "NYC Chinatown Grand Taxidermists Trophy Hunting Tour" held on June 14, 2007 was truly a great event. Squids, fish and frogs, oh, my! I can hardly wait to use the body parts of animals which I collected during the Tour for my live fine art demonstration at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, New York on June 24, 2007 (1 - 5pm) on the occasion of its "Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids" exhibition. I am planning to create a Fiji mermaid and sea monsters then. (My Sea Rabbit and I are also featured in the museum's documentary art film of mythic creatures of the sea. The show runs until January 6, 2008) The Rogue taxidermy is for truly creative artists in the past (gaffs in the Cabinet of Curiosities of kings in the 16th century in the Europe), present (mad scientists and mad artists in the science fiction movies) and future (custom designed live animals created by DNA manipulations). I hope more people attend the next Tour!

Your tour sounds like alot of fun. Here are questions for you. Should I bring jars (with preservative liquid)or sealable bags? What should I use for preserving them? Will this be a monthly event? What was the largest you collected there. Thanks.

Jack
