If you have not already heard, the Bigfoot bounty has been retracted for fear of injury to the animals. Fair enough, but the Bates Symposium goes on at the end of October. If you are out East make the trip. The schedule is posted at http://www.bates.edu/crypto.xml.
If you are in or around Toronto make sure to attend the 3rd Annual Autumnal Cabinet of Wonders Soiree on Oct 28th presented by the Royal Sarcophagus Society www.therss.com.
Midwesterners can catch the Rogue Taxidermists co-founders as the Allison B. Allen visiting artists at Central College from Nov 7th through Dec 2nd, with lectures by Robert Marbury and Workshops by Scott Bibus and Sarina Brewer. more info posted soon or see www.central.edu for direction.
Bates College Cryptozoology and Yeti Bounty
At the 5th Annual Texas Bigfoot Conference in Jefferson, Texas, October 15-16, 2005, and the Bates College Cryptozoology Symposium in Lewiston, Maine, October 28-29, 2005, Loren Coleman will be unveiling the details of a $1 million bounty to encourage the public to assist in obtaining a photograph that will lead to the safe capture of a Bigfoot, Yeti, or Nessie.
Mark Dion in town!
We, Rogues, are excited to have artist Mark Dion in the Twin Cities. Mark last exhibited at the Weisman Museum in 2001 with "Cabinet of Curiosity".
